Sikacrete®-630 Fire+

Fire resistant load bearing compound

Sikacrete®-630 Fire+ is a non-combustible gypsum-based compound, used for load bearing penetration seals in fire compartment floors.

Usage

  • Restores the fire resistance performance of a floor which incorporates a large variety of service penetrations such as cables, cable trays, metal pipes and plastic pipes.
  • Can be combined with SikaSeal®-629 Fire Wrap.

The product must be stored in original, unopened and undamaged packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +25 °C.

Mixing ratio

For pourable consistency

8.8 L to 10.0 L of water per 15 kg bag

6.0 L to 6.5 L of water per 15 kg bag

For load-bearing applications, layer thickness must be ≥ 100 mm.

These figures are theoretical and do not allow for any additional material due to surface porosity, surface profile, variations in level or wastage etc.
Application steps

MIXING

IMPORTANT

The consistency must be checked after every mix.

Note: Mix product with mechanical paddle or manually

Note: Mix only enough material sufficient for use within the recommended pot life.

  1. Pour the minimum recommended clean water quantity into a suitable mixing container/equipment
  2. While stirring slowly, add the powder to the water
  3. Mix thoroughly for at least 2 minutes adding water if necessary, to the maximum specified amount and adjust to the required consistency to achieve a smooth consistent mix.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
