Sika® MultiSeal-515

Sika® MultiSeal-515 is a 40 mil thick self-adhering seamtape consisting of a synthetic butyl rubber compoundprotected by a silicone release paper on a polyesterfacer. The membrane is specifically designed for use totreat joints between sheathing boards, dissimilarmaterials, door and window openings and corner detailsfor above grade wall assemblies.

Impermeable to air, moisture vapor and water.

▪Flexible at low temperatures.

▪Excellent adhesion to prepared substrates.

▪Excellent compatibility with Sika adhesives, liquid airbarrier membranes and sealants.

▪Membrane is self-sealing when penetrated by screwfasteners.

Usage

To be used in conjunction with Sikagard® 510 TransitionSeam Tape Primer, and Sikagard® 530 Liquid AppliedVapor Permeable Air Barrier Membrane. Acceptableapplications are above grade exterior wall substratesincluding precast concrete, cast-in place concrete,concrete block, primed steel, aluminum mill finish,anodized aluminum, galvanized metal, gypsum boardand wood.
