Sikafloor®-92 SL

A three components , solvent-free , pigmented self-smoothing epoxy resin topping for concrete floors .

Sikafloor 92SL consists of graded aggregates bound in a pigmented epoxy resin binder for use in a wide rang of light to medium with thickness between 1mm - 4mm depends on the aggregate`s size used  . When laid it provides a smooth , light reflective surface and high gloss finish .

Application steps

MIXING

Stir component (A) thoroughly with an electric stirrer prior to batching. Add component (B) in the correct mix ratio and mix for 2-3 minutes at a low speed, when the two components are well mixed, add component (C) gradually while mixing (a little at a time) and mix for a further 3 minutes at low speed or until it can be seen that the mixed material is lump free .

Then allow the whole mix to rest for at least 1 minute to exit the trapped air .

APPLICATION

  • Apply an even layer of the mixed material onto the prepared primed substrate using a notched trowel or spreader (Rubber or steel, 6-7mm notches).
  • Roll immediately with a spiked roller to ensure uniform thickness and remove trapped air.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

  1. Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with Colma-Cleaner.
  2. Once hardened, the material can only be removed mechanically.
  3. Wash soiled hands and skin thoroughly with hot soapy water.
