Sika® Igasol®

RUBBER BITUMEN EMUSLION PROTECTIVE AND WATERPROOFING COATING

Sika® Igasol® is a rubberized bituminous liquid emulsion with excellent adhesion, which dries to a tough, seamless, flexible, waterproof, protective coating for concrete structures.
Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Usage

  • Protective coating for construction parts in contact with soil, such as concrete foundations, pillars, retaining walls
  • Release coating for concreting works

Application steps

SUBSTRATE QUALITY

Clean, free of dust, grease and mold oil residues. Potrusions and ridges have to be sanded, pores have to be filled with Sika repairing products (please refer to Sika technical department)

Slightly wetten dry concrete surfaces.

MIXING

Stir throughly before use and application

APPLICATION

By brush or roller or spray by airless gun

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean equipment and tools immediately with clean water. Hardened material can only be removed with Sika® Thinner C or mechanically.
